Participants

The project is addressed to the target group of 13-year-olds in each school (approximately 250 students). They will be in the centre of all the activities and will contribute actively to the implementation of the project in each school.

– at the beginning of the project, they will be the main target audience of the initial informative session – the project, its objectives and activities will be presented to them by coordinating teachers.

– they will work before the LTTAs with their teachers on the topic of each LTTA and the best ones will be selected for direct participation in the mobility;

– they will also be able to contribute with artwork, musical and dance performances before and during the LTTA organised by their school;

– they will create presentations of their schools, regions and countries for displaying them during LTTAs

– they will create and update the Erasmus+ board / corner in their school;

– they will organise / attend workshops of transfer of knowledge post-LTTA

– they will be subject to initial and final evaluation.

The selection of students for these activities will be done following a methodology:

  1. a) at first, the students are presented with the list of activities they can get involved in
  2. b) then they are asked to write a letter of application which indicates the type of activity they would like to get involved in, based on their skills;
  3. c) if the number of applications exceeds the number of positions to be filled, the schools can organise a selection process which will differ in accordance with the skills required by that position – e.g. for dance performances during LTTA, the students may be selected by a board of teachers from the school.
  4. d) for participation in LTTAs, the students will be selected according to the following criteria:

– involvement in the project activities

– punctuality / ability to meet deadlines

– quality of contribution

– language skills (minimum A2 level)

In case of a draw, the school cousellor can be asked to make recommendations based on the identified needs of the students involved, the risks that they are exposed to and the social background (students from vulnerable groups will be given priority.)
